Africology Oud Candle

A paraffin-based scented candle with a proprietary blend of essential oils centered around oud, also known as agarwood, a resinous wood formed when the Aquilaria tree reacts to a fungal infection. The scent is warm, woody, and slightly smoky with sweet undertones. Oud is considered one of the most valuable fragrance raw materials in the world and has been used in oriental perfumery for centuries. The Africology extract is sustainably and ethically sourced.

When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn long enough for the entire top surface to melt; this prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn time. Keep the wick trimmed short (±5 mm) for a clean flame and minimal soot formation.
